Lukashenko: Press Day unites thousands of passionate and creative professionals

MINSK, 5 May (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to press workers as Belarus marks Press Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“This holiday unites thousands of passionate and creative masters of the printed word - continuators of the national traditions of journalism and enlightenment,” the message of greetings reads. “With the beauty of your language and the power of your talent in a modern flow of events and facts, you help highlight the main things, opening up again and again the world of information, analysis, reference and literature in which the knowledge and wisdom of generations are woven together. Each of your publications or publishing projects contributes to the development of society, the strengthening of statehood and moral guidelines.”
