Accreditation with Belarusian Elections 2024 info center to remain open until 16 February

MINSK, 17 January (BelTA) - The accreditation with the information center of the Belarusian Central Election Commission will remain open until 16 February, Belarusian First Deputy Information Minister, head of the info center Andrei Kuntsevich said during the seminar-conference "The role of the media in creating effective communication during election campaigns," in Minsk on 17 January, BelTA has learned.

As it has been reported, the CEC information center will operate from 24 to 26 February. Applications for accreditation will be open from 17 January to 16 February inclusively. "All applications will be reviewed properly, after which accreditation certificates for admission to the info center will be issued," Andrei Kuntsevich added.

Andrei Kuntsevich recalled several important points regarding the work of accredited journalists. "Accreditation cannot be transferred to another journalist or person. The certificate to access the information center will be valid upon showing the appropriate identity document, a passport," Andrei Kuntsevich concluded.

Full information on accreditation procedure is available on the website of the Information Ministry. It has been reported that the Information Ministry will accredit representatives of the Belarusian media. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will accredit foreign journalists.
